20(SOMETHING)
20(SOMETHING) created the brand identity, website and launch campaign for Open Point, a civic technology company formed by uniting two established engagement platforms. The work rests on a shared belief: better places are built when more people have the opportunity to shape them. The brand had to carry that conviction while bringing two existing platforms under one name.
The premise comes from how places change. New homes, transport networks, renewable energy projects and public spaces all have the power to improve everyday life, but they depend on the trust and participation of the communities they serve. Open Point sits where that dependence becomes a problem worth solving.
The real challenge is a tension the brand had to hold. As expectations around transparency grow, organisations delivering major projects have to involve more people in decision-making while keeping the governance, accountability and compliance needed to finish the work. Open Point's identity is built to stand for both openness and rigor at once, participation without losing the structure that sees projects through.
