Slope Agency
Slope developed the brand identity for Arena Physica, a company building toward electromagnetic superintelligence. Its platform Atlas connects fragmented engineering data across disciplines, and its foundation model, Heaviside, trains on electromagnetism itself. Backed by $90M from Founders Fund and Initialized Capital, the brief was to bring structure to genuine technical complexity.
The mark comes from the field itself. It draws on the Smith chart, the diagram engineers use to visualize impedance in electrical systems, simplifying its circular geometry and intersecting paths into something distinctly ownable. The identity takes its signature from the discipline it serves rather than imposing one from outside.
The rest of the system stays close to how engineers actually work. Line illustrations drawn from real plotting and measurement conventions flex between functional charts and expressive graphics, so the brand reads as native to its audience. Structure holds the complexity without flattening it.
